This cottage was an absolute gem! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wood-burning stove added a lovely touch, and the electric blankets were a bonus. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby forests, lakes, and beaches. The owner, Trish, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

The only issue we encountered was on one of the nights when we couldn't book a taxi to and from Boyle. However, this was not the fault of the cottage or its owner.

The cottage was absolutely amazing - mind-blowing! It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need, including logs for the super cozy logburner. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of lakes, historical sites, and villages to explore. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The cottage had all the modern amenities you could ask for, including free parking, an electric kettle, cookware, a flat-screen TV. We also enjoyed hiking and cycling in the area, as well as fishing. The outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated that cots were available. We loved that the cottage was pet-free and the rooms were non-smoking. Can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous, spacious and mind-blowingly clean cottage with renovated interiors. Super comfy sofas and beds, plus the electric heating and blanket were a jaw-dropping bonus. Private location amidst towering trees, yet close to B&B. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Perfect base to explore lakes, forests, and beaches. Nearby Tesco and Supervalue. All amenities like free parking and outdoor dining area provided. Amazing value and would love to return!

We had great value for our money at Carrickamore Cottage, with a comfortable and spotlessly clean room. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to lakes, forests, and beaches. The staff, especially Trish, were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We had an incredible stay at Carrickamore Cottage in Boyle. the cottage itself is absolutely gorgeous, with spacious rooms and a spotlessly clean interior. It has been beautifully renovated, and the comfortable sofas and bed made us feel right at home. the presence of both a fireplace and electric heating ensured that we were always warm and cozy, and the electric blanket on the bed was a wonderful touch. the location of the cottage is also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the stunning lakes, forests, and beaches in the area. Lough Key, just a short drive away, was particularly breathtaking. Trish, the host, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when we had to change our arrival time. a perfect and quiet place in a great location. Cons: Everything is exactly what I need and want. 🌟.
